and Secures Initial Order

Pure Energy Rechargeable Alkaline Batteries

TORONTO, Canada - Pure Energy Visions Corporation (PEV - TSX Venture, XYQ - FWB), ("Pure Energy" or the "Corporation"), the leading Canadian provider of environmentally responsible rechargeable battery products, announced today that it has taken over the business of its Australian distributor Grand Battery Technologies Australia Pty Ltd. (Grand Battery), based in Melbourne, Victoria.

Pure Energy also reports that it has received a purchase order for Pure Energy brand products from one of its largest Australian customers with initial delivery taking place this spring.

Grand Battery has been selling Rechargeable Alkaline and NiMH battery products under the Grandcell brand in Australia since 1998, with annual sales ranging from US$1 million and US$4 million. Customers include Woolworths, K-Mart, Dick Smith's Electronics and Big W.
