Medis Fuel Cell Power Emergency Kit

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Medis Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: MDTL) creator of the world's first consumer portable fuel cell, announced today that it has received the June 2009 Editor's Choice Award from Computer Times for best portable charger. Editor's Choice Awards are only awarded to the best products in 29 categories that deliver the best value for the consumer.

Angie Kibiloski in her review for Computer Times points out that the Medis 24/7 Xtreme Portable Charger is compatible with a large variety of devices from a basic flip phone up to a Blackberry or iPhone. She liked that it is eco-friendly, non-toxic, recyclable and noted it is "as green as they come."

Ms. Kibiloski also took the opportunity to check out the Medis Fuel Cell Power Emergency Kit. She points out that the kit contains the same eco-friendly and long-lasting fuel cell as the Xtreme Portable Charger, and also comes with a strong LED flashlight that provides up to 100 hours of light, and is perfect for situations like blackouts or natural disasters such as tornadoes or earthquakes.
