Nite Ize AA L.E.D. Upgrade II Combo

BOULDER, Co. - Nite Ize, Inc., a leading manufacturer of innovative accessories, announced today the introduction of several new products, including two new L.E.D. Upgrade Kits designed to enhance the performance of a AA Mini Maglite®: the AA L.E.D. Upgrade II, and the AA L.E.D. Combo Upgrade II.

These new L.E.D. Upgrade Kits produce a lumen output of 30 lumens and extend the battery life 5 times that of the standard AA Mini Maglite®, of over 25 hours.

"Our L.E.D. Upgrade kits were designed to make a great little flashlight just a little bit better," said Rick Case, Nite Ize founder and president. "The AA L.E.D. Upgrade II simply replaces the incandescent bulb of a AA Mini Maglite® with a bright white L.E.D. that virtually never needs replacing. The AA L.E.D. Combo Upgrade ll includes the same L.E.D. bulb, plus a push-button tail-cap switch which replaces the "two-handed twist" and allows the user to turn the flashlight on and off with one hand. Like everything else we do, it's all about increased functionality and efficiency."

Aside from their long life (they virtually never need to be replaced), L.E.D. bulbs run more efficiently than the traditional incandescent bulb, and increase a battery life by a factor of five. Both Nite Ize L.E.D. Upgrade ll kits create light that is also fully focusable; the flashlight's beam can be adjusted from wide flood to narrow focus, The tail cap on/off switch included in the AA L.E.D. Combo Upgrade ll is a push-button switch that is both simple to operate and easy to install.
