mPower Emergency Illuminator®

LITTLE FALLS, N.J. - mPhase Technologies, Inc. (OTC.BB: XDSL), a global leader in the development of reserve battery technology, today announced that it has launched its online store, mPowerTech.com, in both the German and French languages.

It is important for us to reach the affluent market in both North America and Europe."

The mPower Emergency Illuminator® is a state-of-the-art, high-intensity LED light and USB charging device designed to provide optimum charging of a cell phone. The Illuminator is equipped with two standard CR123 3-volt lithium batteries for everyday use, and features a second compartment that houses mPower's On Command™ Reserve Battery. The reserve battery intended for emergency use employs a custom-designed internal barrier and triggering mechanism to prevent liquid electrolytes from interacting with the solid electrodes until the battery is manually activated. The mPower Illuminator is the first commercial product featuring reserve battery technology with a shelf life exceeding 20 years.

The mPower online store is accepting pre-orders for the mPower Emergency Illuminator®. The product will be available to ship in March 2010.

Along with the new German and French translations, mPhase has also improved the functionality of mPowerTech.com. The website homepage now includes "hot spots" that visitors can click on to launch videos highlighting the Illuminator's more distinguishing features.
