NEWPORT BEACH, Ca. - Universal Guardian Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UGHO - News), an emerging global leader in non- lethal protection products, integrated transportation and global supply chain security systems, and strategic security services to protect against terrorist, criminal, and security threats to governments and businesses worldwide, announced that it has appointed Kevin Westcott as its new President and Chief Operating Officer.
As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Westcott reports to Michael Skellern, Universal Guardian's Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Westcott will provide leadership for all of Universal Guardian's business operations and have primary responsibility for executing Universal's business strategy and ensuring operational excellence. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Universal Guardian Holdings' three operating groups: UG Services Group, UG Products Group, and UG Systems Group.
Mr. Westcott joins Universal Guardian from Accenture where he spent 19 years. Serving as a Global Partner since 2000, Mr. Westcott led a wide variety of programs for Accenture's clients including launching a number of online and traditional retail programs, enhancing supply chain operations and systems for wholesalers and retailers, and implementing RFID compliance systems for suppliers to the world's largest retailers. Mr. Westcott also managed the market development, business development, and marketing for one of Accenture's management consulting practices from 2003 - 2005.
